Zuma Rescue Ranch Open House Gala: July 24th

Gosh there are few times I wish there were two of me but this week is one of those! It is also one of those amazing times of serendipity that I love so much. A few weeks ago a friend thought I might like to go to visit Zuma Rescue Ranch because I love supporting organizations that help horses and better yet organizations that help horses and humans.

Just last week I was thinking to myself that I should give them a ring when low and behold I received an email from them about their fundraiser this Friday. Unfortunately I will be away that day at the Aspen Art Festival but I will be there in spirit. Please click the above invite so that you can read about all the details! It is through the generosity of individuals in the community that organizations like this can grow and thrive.

Zuma's Mission

To rescue cast off horses and pair them with troubled children and families. Together, with the help of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy we will teach both horse and child how to live, love and trust again.

Horses sense the needs within children and provide and unconditional acceptance. Equine Assisted Psychotherapies open the locked doors of human minds.Once the door has been unlocked the healing can begin.

Michael Blake, author of "Dancing With Wolves" will be there signing his new book "Twelve the King", a tribute to his wild mustang. To learn more about this wonderful event please visit www.zumasrescueranch.com

Susan,

Thanks so much for your kind words about our organization. We at Zuma's work hard to help both horses and children let down by our hectic society. Together they both find a new take on life.
